While visiting Kingston during Christmas time, we came across this beautiful little inn, called them to see if they were OK with a service dog, and they were!! Upon our check-in we drove up to our room not expecting anything extraordinary, Only to enter the room and have the most precious gesture of a dog bed laying on the floor for my pooch, a little mat with food and water dishes cleaned and ready. And the table 🥰 oh bless their heart a little cookie wrapped with a bow for our boy! The room is just perfect for what we need, at every turn or opening a drawer we find "something" toaster tucked away with a kettle, actual ceramic mugs for the coffee they provide, plates and cutlery, a fridge and a microwave! And to top it all a fresh carnation was placed on the bathroom sink! Well done Green Acres Inn you have won our service when we visit from #southwestern Ontario!
I had a lovely stay at Green Acres earlier this month. The staff was welcoming and the room very cosy and comfortable. Little things like the walking path by the river made me glad I had picked this place over a chain hotel. Also they were super helpful when I realized I had left my phone charger behind!
One of the BEST hotels I’ve stayed in! It is such a cute place and the service is phenomenal! I’m a clean freak and the first thing I do when I check in to a room is inspect the bed for any hair or stains and the bed sheets were SPOTLESS (not even a dust bunny) I can’t express enough how clean the room was which is very rare these days unless you’re staying at a 4+ start hotel. The washroom was spotless as well and they even provided makeup wipes! Also there was a wireless charger provided in the room as well. The pool was beautiful and very inviting, my partner and I had so much fun hanging out by the pool. I can not stop raving about this place, I will not be coming to Kingston unless I can stay here! It is THAT good! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a cute, clean and friendly place to stay at.
Was pleasantly surprised. - after spending 100 nights in hotels this year, wasnt sure what I was walking into.
Rooms were very decent, beds were clean and comfortable, will definitely be returning when i come back to kingston for work!
Better value than a room in a chain hotel, without the ghetto atmosphere of a roadside motel.
Good people, taking good care of this place. - Even the locals i was working with had great things to say about the place.
My husband and I went to Kingston to visit family. We stayed in the Tulip suite with our 5 month old mini goldendoodle puppy. The room was amazing and the staff was welcoming and accommodating! Very central location, we will definitely be back!
Stopped on our long roadtrip from Michigan to Maine. Wanted to check out Kingston, the first capital of Canada. The motel was just what I expected. Old-school single story place. Room was comfortable and fairly roomy. Just had a window air conditioner, which was fine. Very clean place, no big frills. Highly recommend the Green Acres Inn if you're in Kingston!
Wonderful!
Warm and elegant rooms, lovely grounds, and a kind reception. Probably the best motel we will ever visit. We were welcomed by Heather and given our room at the back of the property, furthest from the road. We were immediately charmed by the many thoughtful details – great lighting, gorgeous (and comfortable) beds, wingback chairs, high quality toiletries, charging station, writing desk, soft towels. There was even a well-stocked ktichenette, complete with microwave, fridge, cutting boards, plates, cutlery and glassware. And like the rest of the suite – it was spotless.
Though the property is on a main road, it’s very peaceful - our room was quiet and the window opned onto a garden. Pride of ownership is everywhere; the rooms, the grounds, and the friendly greeting. Truly a small oasis in the city, and for us, such a lucky find. Thanks Heather!
Wow - What a spot! This was our first visit to Green Acres Inn and we couldn’t have been happier with our room. Our room was spotless and the grounds were impeccably kept, with lots of different seating areas for guests to enjoy. I didn’t …
